About Us
Blake Willard, aka “Mr. Quick Fire” has been the Owner/Operator of Quick Fire Fireplaces for the past 25 years. After 32 years with the Calgary Fire Department, he retired in 2008. So, he knows a lot about fire and safety!
Blake and the Quick Fire team are shifting gears! Now is the time to downsize and due to the economic environment, finding reliable and dedicated staff has become a difficult challenge. Therefore, it’s time to retire. The Willard’s are passionate about traveling and creating a balanced lifestyle; Blake’s motto is “life is short, eat desserts first!”.

Quick Fire Fireplaces has been committed to making a difference by enriching and improving the communities that we serve. We have donated thousands of dollars, plus given our time and energy to various local organizations, such as; the Kids Cancer Care Foundation, Foothills Fetal Alcohol Society, the Town of Blackie annual Heritage Days, High River Chuckwagon Championship, High River Little Britches parade, Black Diamond parade, Okotoks parade and many more.
Compassion and generosity are very much part of our lives, both personally and professionally. Simply put, giving back is the right thing to do!
Last summer, I joined a few fellows golfing at the Highwood. I had never met these guys before and was looking forward to a good game of golf and conversation. We got talking about fireplaces and that I was about to get a gas fireplace installed. Two of the fellows insisted that I call their fireplace guy. I told them that I was already set up. However, they were insistent that I at least talk to their guy. When I got the name of their guy, it turned out to be Blake with Quick Fire Fireplaces. I laughed since Blake was my guy too and it made me feel good that Blake was so highly recommended. Now, I too highly recommend anyone to Blake and the folks at Quick Fire Fireplace.
